1. Data We Collect

We collect the minimum information needed to run Music Player:

• Account information — when you sign in with Apple we receive a unique user identifier and, optionally, your name and email address.
• Usage data — local playback history, playlists you build, and tracks you download are stored on your device and, if you stay signed in, synced to our Firebase backend.
• Device identifiers — if you allow ad tracking via the App Tracking Transparency prompt, we provide the IDFA to Google AdMob so personalised ads can be delivered.
• Technical diagnostics — crash reports and basic performance metrics via Firebase Crashlytics so we can fix bugs.

2. How We Use Your Data

• Authenticate you via Sign in with Apple and keep your library synced across devices.
• Deliver non-personalised or personalised ads in the free tier (only when you explicitly grant tracking permission).
• Measure feature usage so we can improve the app.
• Provide customer support when you contact us.

We never sell your personal information.

3. Third-Party Services

Music Player relies on:

• Apple — Sign in with Apple, StoreKit for subscriptions, iCloud for optional backups.
• Google Firebase — Authentication, Realtime Database, Cloud Storage, and Crashlytics.
• Google AdMob — serves banner, interstitial, rewarded, native, and app-open ads to free-tier users.

Each of these providers has its own privacy policy which governs how they handle data they receive from Music Player.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your music library metadata and (optionally) your audio files are stored in Firebase. All transfers use TLS 1.3. Your data is isolated per-user via Firebase security rules so nobody else can access your account.

We retain account data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all server-side data is permanently removed within 30 days.

5. Your Rights

You can at any time:

• Sign out from Settings → Account.
• Delete your entire account and all server-side data from Settings → Account → Delete Account. This action is permanent.
• Revoke ad tracking permission in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
• Cancel any active subscription in your Apple ID subscription settings.
• Request a copy of your data — email us at the address below.

6. Children's Privacy

Music Player is rated 12+ and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes we will update the "Last updated" date at the top and, if required by law, notify you inside the app.
